Request deletion of your StudentHub data

You don't have to delete your whole StudentHub account to remove data you no
longer want us to have. This page explains what you can delete yourself in the app, and how to
ask us to delete anything else, while keeping your account.
Delete data yourself, in the app
- Roommate card & photos: Roommate finder → your card → delete (or pause it to hide without deleting).
- Marketplace & room posts: Marketplace → My listings → delete any post (photos go with it).
- Likes on roommates: Roommate finder → Liked → remove a like.
- Calendar events: Calendar → open an event you added → delete.
- Neptun, Canvas & Moodle connections: Profile → the LMS card → disconnect. Detailed academic data lives on your own device and is removed when you disconnect or sign out.
- Profile details: Profile → Settings: clear or change your photo, bio, phone number and other optional fields at any time.
Self-service deletions take effect immediately.
Ask us to delete specific data
For anything you can't remove in the app, for example your chat messages, reports you filed,
or any specific record we hold about you, email us from the address on your
account and tell us what to delete:

Email privacy@senerdag.site with the subject
“Delete some of my StudentHub data” and list the data you want removed. We may ask you to
confirm ownership of the account. Requests are completed within 30 days.
What is deleted, and what may be kept
- Data you delete (or ask us to delete) is removed from our active systems; residual copies leave backups within 30 days.
- Content already delivered to other users (e.g. a chat message they received) may remain in their copy.
- We keep the minimum required by law or for fraud/abuse prevention (e.g. moderation and safety records), in anonymized or restricted form, only as long as necessary.
